Learning the Violin

The Violin is known as the Devil's instrument. In the beginning stages of learning the Violin, one may face challenges that are not prevalent in other instruments. However, overcoming these early hurdles can be achieved through effective and productive learning methods - which will open up the door to creating sublime and voice-like sounds.

Many consider the violin to be the closest to the human voice. As we all know, there is no such voice that is as flexible and beautiful like the human voice. Just imagine the voice of Maria Callas and Luciano Pavarotti - the violin is maybe the only instrument that can closely emulate these revered and gifted voices. This theoretically is because of the way it is tuned, and the registers it can portray. It too is very flexible, and  is known as the upper voice of the orchestra.

Starting the violin can be tricky as previously explained, and that is why it is crucial to find the right method for the beginner. There are many types of 'Schools' which pupils follow when learning the Violin. But we prefer to tailor your own school, so you are not tied to a one dimensional (one size fits all) kind of method.

However, if you are already a seasoned player and are onto Concerti from the Romantic Era, or an intermediate student with some knowledge, maybe some harmonic and theoretical touches can improve your music making, whilst tiding up technical aspects which can further enhance your Violin playing!
